George S. Cheeseman
Firearms / Defensive Tactics (Adjunct) Instructor

George is a twenty-eight year veteran of civilian law enforcement and security, a twenty-five year veteran firearms and defensive tactics instructor and a veteran of the Army National Guard. In addition to developing and heading up a correction and security officer training program through the Texas Department of Criminal Justice and the U.S. Department of Labor, George has also trained thousands of U.S. Navy Master-at-Arms (Police Officers) as a firearms instructor at the Naval Technical Training Center, Lackland AFB, Texas. George received his Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-B) from the San Marcos/Hayes County EMS (Texas Dept. of Health Svc.) in 2004, and is currently certified in Tactical Combat Casaulty Care (TCCC). George's current assignment is as a Weapons and Tactice Instructor at the U.S. Navy Expeditionary Combat Skills Training School in Gulport, MS. His multitude of instructor certifications across a wide variety of subject areas makes him a valuable, professional, experienced member of the HSTC staff.
